1. These terms

By using QuoteStitch you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, do not use the site. They apply to the website and the tool it provides.

QuoteStitch is operated by an individual developer rather than a company — see About. There is therefore no registered entity or company number to state here. If the site is later operated by a registered business, that business will be named in these terms.

2. What the service is

QuoteStitch is a free, browser-based tool that combines a series of screenshots, or frames taken from a video file you supply, into a single long image. It runs entirely on your device. There is no account, no subscription and no paid tier.

3. Your content

You keep every right you already hold in the images and videos you use with this tool. We claim no licence over them, because we never receive them — nothing is uploaded, so there is nothing for us to hold.

You are responsible for what you feed in and what you do with the result. That includes making sure you have the right to use the source material and that publishing the finished image does not infringe anyone else's rights.

4. Acceptable use

Please do not use QuoteStitch to:

• create or distribute material that is unlawful, defamatory, or that infringes another person's copyright;
• harass, threaten or identify another person without their consent;
• misrepresent the origin of an image — for example, presenting a stitched quote as something a person never said;
• attack, overload or attempt to disrupt the site or the network that serves it.

5. No warranty

The tool is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. Band detection is a heuristic: it looks for the rows that change most between your frames, and it can choose the wrong rows — for example when the camera moves, when the frames differ in size, or when a subtitle is positioned unusually.

Always check the preview before you rely on the output. We do not warrant that the tool will be available, uninterrupted, or free of errors.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator of QuoteStitch is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site, including lost data, lost time, or a stitched image that turns out to be wrong.

Because the tool runs on your device and we hold none of your content, there is nothing on our side that could be lost, leaked or restored.

7. Availability and changes

The tool is free and provided on a best-effort basis. Features may be added, changed or removed, and the site may be taken offline, without notice. Nothing here promises a level of service.

8. Advertising

No advertising is served on this site today. If advertising is introduced, these terms and the privacy policy will be updated to describe it before any ad appears.

9. Changes to these terms

These terms may be revised. The date at the top of this page shows the current version, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.
